W-E-D-N-E-S-D-A-Y

A partially successful attempt to capture a random Wednesday in Hong Kong

Every morning: Checking the email with a cup of tea and the living room balcony door wide open (not by my choice)

Another part of EVERY single day: Mabel Yee's apartment is wayy off the beaten path of HK, so everywhere requires at least one bus to get to. Here's a shot of the mini-bus driver.

FREE MUSEUM WEDNESDAYS!: Yes, we're that cheap. I didn't take any photos in the History museum, although it was very good and I learned a lot. This photo is from the Science museum, which was more like a Science Center where you can do hands-on science learning. This is part of the mirror exhibit...

The Year of the Ox, preview: In Times Square HK, the decorations for Lunar New Year. You can't really see it, but the benches the people are sitting on are ox-shaped!

THE RACES! A HUUUUUUUGE HK institution, every Wednesday and Sunday there's 8 horse races and its a crazy big deal. Apparently turnover is $1billion HK dollars every race day! We went for the beer garden seats on the race track...

You can see the blur of the horses passing by...

Someone took a horribly positioned photo of us
